How to: Save a new document.
Solution:
Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save' or 'Save As...'.
1) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save' or 'Save As...'. (The 'Save As' dialog box appears.)
2) Select the drive where the document is to be saved from the 'Save in' drop-down list box. (A list of folders within the drive appears.)
3) (Optional) Select the desired folder.
4) Type a filename for the document in the 'File name' drop-down list box.
5) Type the file type that the document should be saved as in the 'Save as type' drop-down list box.
6) Click 'Save'.
